Pre-order Terms

Last updated 1 October 2026

These terms apply when you pre-order the Prona Founding Edition on this website. Please read them before you pre-order. Nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

01Who we are

Prona is made by Swyng Technology Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16970911). Our registered office is 23 Waters Way, Halstead, CO9 1GF. You can contact us at engineering@swyng-technology.com.

02What you are pre-ordering

A Prona Founding Edition: one Prona band with a Midnight woven strap in the wrist size you choose, plus 12 months of Prona membership, for a founding price of £150 for the first year (normally £199).

The Founding Edition is limited to the first 100 players. Pre-ordering adds you to our Founders list and holds the founding price for you.

03Paying for your pre-order

No payment is taken when you place your pre-order. When payments open, we will email you to pay a £50 refundable deposit to confirm your place.

Your deposit counts towards your £150 first year. We will take the remaining £100 when your band is ready to ship, and we will email you before we do.

If you have not paid your deposit within 14 days of our email, we may offer your place to the next person on the Founders list.

04Changing your mind

You can cancel your pre-order at any time before your band ships by emailing us. If you have paid a deposit, we will refund it in full within 14 days.

Once your band has been delivered, you also have 14 days to cancel and return it for a refund, as set out in the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

05Delivery

We expect to ship Founding Edition bands by the end of Q1 2027, in the order pre-orders were placed. This date is an estimate, not a guarantee.

If the date changes, we will tell you, and you can cancel for a full refund of anything you have paid. We will confirm delivery options for your country before we take any payment.

06Changes to the product

Prona is still in development, so details such as design, materials, features and specifications may change before it ships. If a change materially affects what you pre-ordered, we will tell you before taking any payment and you can cancel for a full refund.

07Your membership

Your first 12 months of membership start when your band is delivered. After that, your membership renews at £199 a year unless you cancel.

We will remind you before it renews, and you can cancel at any time. The band is yours to keep.

08Founding member perks

Founding members get a founding member badge, early access to new features and priority support. Referral rewards, where offered, follow the terms shown at the time.

09If we cannot deliver

If we are unable to deliver the Founding Edition, we will cancel your pre-order and refund everything you have paid, in full.

10Your information

We use the details you give us to manage your pre-order and keep you updated about it. We only send marketing emails if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Our Privacy Policy explains more.

11Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer, or our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

12The legal bit

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear any dispute. If you live in Scotland, Northern Ireland or the EU, you keep the protection of the consumer laws where you live and can bring a claim in your local courts.

Privacy Policy

Last updated 1 October 2026

This policy explains what we collect through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

01Who we are

Prona is made by Swyng Technology Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16970911), registered office 23 Waters Way, Halstead, CO9 1GF. We are responsible for the personal data described here. You can contact us at engineering@swyng-technology.com.

02What we collect

When you pre-order: your first and last name, email address, town or city, country, home club, how you heard about us, your playing level, how often you play, your wrist size and strap colour, that you agreed to the Pre-order Terms, whether you asked for launch news, and when you did each of these. If you arrived through a friend's invite link, we also keep the code that brought you here.

If you joined our earlier waitlist, we hold your email address and when you joined.

If you accept analytics: anonymous usage events, such as page views and which pre-order steps were reached. These contain no names, emails, IP addresses or device identifiers.

03What we use it for

To manage your pre-order and contact you about it, including when it is time to pay your deposit and before your band ships. To send the right wrist size. To understand, in aggregate, who Prona is for, for example which levels and countries our Founders come from.

We only send launch news and early access invites if you ticked the box asking for them. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone for their own marketing.

04Our lawful basis

We use your pre-order details because you asked us to reserve a band for you, which is a step towards a contract with you. We use the aggregate player details under our legitimate interest in understanding our customers. Launch news and analytics rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

05Cookies and local storage

We do not use cookies or third-party trackers, and our fonts are served from this site. We keep a few small items in your browser's local storage: your analytics choice, the invite code you arrived with, and your own invite code once you have pre-ordered. You can remove them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

06Where your data lives

Pre-order details are stored with our database provider, Supabase, and are protected so that they cannot be read from the public website.

07How long we keep it

We keep your pre-order details until your pre-order has been fulfilled or cancelled, and after that only for as long as we need to meet our legal and accounting obligations. If you ask us to delete your details before then, we will.

08Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. Email us at engineering@swyng-technology.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

09Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update it here with a new date before the change takes effect.
